Turn your summer dress into a winter dress!

Look for bold colored dresses (the long ones that go to the floor.)
  • Pastel colored dresses (short or long) are also great — just make sure and add darker accents. This will give you a more wintery look.
  • Wear tights or leggings
  • Wear a turtleneck or long-sleeved shirt underneath the dress. Don't match it exactly to the dress. Pick a bold color to add some contrast.
  • Wear a scarf and/or a hat.
  • Any dress design is good EXCEPT Hawaiian flowers. That is just too "summery." :)
  • Be sure and wear layers. Not only will it help keep you warm, but it is also the style! Wear a cardigan or just about any kind of jacket. I'll show you some good examples in a minute!
  • Wear boots. Any kind. (Uggs, cowboys boots, suede knee-highs, etc)
  • Wear a sweater over your dress. It will make your dress look like a skirt!

  1. Just because the weather is cool, doesn't mean you have to pack your summer minis and dresses away till next season. Winter is the perfect time to give those items a new lease on life. If you are not a fan of bearing all that flesh when it comes to wearing mini skirts and dresses, then perhaps it's time to try some new trends and techniques this winter. There are so many ways to wear dresses and minis in the cooler months. Even the most self-conscious gal can go out and buy that cute little Cooper St dress she's had her eye on and still feel comfortable strutting a hemline above the knee.
